“RUNNING FOR HIS LIFE IN SANTA POLA” “Canons roar! Drums are beating! And seven thousand people are starting to run in the Santa Pola Half Marathon. Some are in fancy dress; some are pushing prams – one had twins in it! Javea Race for Life. MABS have been handed a cheque for €1,198 as a result of the Race for Life in Javea this year. Click here for more details
The people of Pego Race for Life raise a staggering €3.860 for MABS. When Nicola Dane and Gillian Brackett learnt that there were a lot of people in Pego and it's environs that wanted to take part in a Race for Life but could not travel to more established venues, they decided to organise a race themselves. Over 140 people registered to compete and raise money for MABS Cancer Support Group. MABS CANCER SUPPORT CENTRE We have just opened our first Support Centre. Thanks to the generous support of TELITEC the group has, for the next eighteen months at least, a lovely airy reception lounge and treatment room in Moraira's SolPark, just at the entrance to the Restaurant Los Leones.
