WHO ARE WE?
We were founded as a self-help group by cancer survivors in 1999 and now have an extensive network of groups of volunteers and supporters along Spain’s Mediterranean coast, from Valencia to Gibraltar.
All our volunteers have been touched by cancer themselves, so can talk with you with deep understanding. They know first-hand how it feels to be told you have cancer, or that someone close to you has been diagnosed with it. They understand the feeling of despair at not knowing where to turn to for immediate and long-term support and practical help. We also have drivers and other supporters who can help you in many different ways.
Cancer can be a lonely, frightening thing.
The illness itself and the baggage that come with and after it can affect people in many different ways, from bewilderment or even panic, to a sense of anger or frustration. Not knowing who to turn to, where to go for informed opinions instead of merely platitudes, all add difficulties to an already highly charged situation.
Our volunteers will help allay anxieties and concerns before, during and after the actual treatments, and will be there just for support whenever it is needed. Call us - we are just a phone call away.

OUR SERVICES INCLUDE:
- support and help for patients, their families and those close to them, by phone at all times and with home visits if needed
- a Support Centre with a treatment room for lymphatic drainage and other complimentary treatments
- information on ALL cancers and treatments
- information on cancer drugs
- translators to assist at clinics and hospitals
- drivers and transport where necessary
