MABS Cancer Support Group held it's first Race For Life, over a 5km course, in Moraira-Teulada today. Thanks to el Alcalde and the Chief of Police a course was mapped out, and policed, to allow the 236 runners to complete the event in safety. Many, many people came to support their friends and relatives, and, of course MABS. At the finish of the race MABS had amassed €4000 in entrance fees, sponsorship and donations. It is expected that over the next week much more money will be delivered to the charity from the many donations yet to come.
