| SPONSORS AND PATRONS Since the Group started in 1999 as a help group for breast cancer patients, it has grown so that now it assists those affected by all types of cancer and it has operations from Valencia to Gibraltar. As well as the original Marina Alta head office, there are four satellite branches in Murcia/Mar Menor, Mazarron, Majacar and the Costa del Sol, and most towns have supporters and co-ordinators. MABS is now a large organisation operating over a wide geographical area providing support to those with cancer, and their immediate relatives, irrespective of nationality. Without the money, skills, services and the freely given time of our sponsors and patrons, the charity simply could not function. We are deeply indebted.
